A phenomena that happened over and over again in my twenties was that I would get laid off from my job, lose my current girlfriend and lose my car within a two week period.

This happened to me 6 times!

It became so bizarre I thought I was living in the twilight zone or something. The final time it happened I didn't even get upset. I went directly to the Employment Commission to file for unemployment. I went home and prepared my resume. I looked for work on Friday. Looking in the paper on Saturday and Sunday.

Monday morning I woke up SUDDENLY and sat straight up in bed. (I never did that..I was a 5 time snooze button pusher!) I heard an audible voice say, "Pack your bags, you're moving to Dallas."

So I sat there totally stunned. I mean, it isn't every day you hear an audible voice in your bedroom when you are the only one there. There was an authority to it I couldn't resist.

Being a skeptic, I sat there and thought, "OK, I've lost my girlfriend, my car, my job..and now I've lost my mind too!" I went by my parents place and told my mother about it, hoping she'd talk some sense into me. To my utter disbelief, she told me she thought I should go!

So I sat, and I thought for a while and realized that it was time to apply EVERYTHING I had learned from the…
